About Us
What We Do
Our academy offers quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training in Aberdeen to youth, teens, and adults in our community in a positive setting. We strive to produce confident, respectful, disciplined individuals with a high level of integrity. Our students will learn the self-defense aspect of Jiu Jitsu which it was founded on, along with many more techniques associated with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. All the while promoting a healthier lifestyle. We emphasize providing a clean safe family-friendly environment.
FAQ
- Do I need to have experience?
- No experience required! Our programs will provide both education and physical conditioning on your martial arts journey.
- Can I try a class before I pay?
- Absolutely we want to make sure it is the right fit for you and your famliy.
- What do I need for my first class?
- Comfortable workout clothes.
- Students with long hair, please secure with either a ponytail or braid.
- For males, no athletic cups permitted during training.
- Arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled class time.
- Do I need to buy a Gi (aka Kimono) before my first class jiu jitsu?
- No, but if you decided BJJ is the right fit for you our academy does train in Gi.
- Please stop by our academy in Aberdeen for a fitting and we will ensure you find the right fit.
- Are there any updates for Covid-19?
- All students and spectators are required to sign a Covid-19 Disclosure.
- Practice good hygiene, shower before and after class, and wash your hands often.
- Please stay home if you are sick or have been exposed to Covid-19.
Please Note
We do not allow shoes on the mats. Please remove your shoes upon entry.
No other school or affiliation patches are to be worn for training, exceptions for visiting students.
